To Whom It May Concern:

It is my extreme pleasure and honor to introduce my esteemed colleague and friend, Binyomin Stone.

I have been working with Binyomin for the past 4 years and I am continuously amazed at his forward thinking and unique talents in the areas of classroom management, making the lesson at hand relevant and above all, his ability to reach the “difficult” child.

I have come to learn from Binyomin that there is no “difficult” child. It is a matter of using the right approach in order to build trust, respect and friendship with any and every child/student.

I have referred numerous teachers to Binyomin for his Teacher Coaching skills as well as parents in need of additional support for their struggling children.

To quote a teacher many years my senior “Binyomin clearly has a gift that does not come along with age”. While Binyomin is young in years, he has a way with students that teachers and parent will do well to learn.

A note on friendship. Binyomin is kind hearted and caring. He enjoys good company and being in the company of likeminded thinkers and educators. He adapts well to his surroundings and brings quality conversation and thought along with him.

I strongly encourage you to develop a relationship with this gifted young man.

Please call me if you would like to speak with me in person. For the sake of “full discloser” allow me to say that I have a tremendous amount of respect for Binyomin and i like him!

With esteem and blessing, Rabbi Shmuly Rothman

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Larry A.. and I’ve been a high school English teacher for thirteen years.   During this time, I’ve had the pleasure to work with dozens of enthusiastic, talented teachers, but very few of them are as exemplary as Binyamin Stone, a colleague for whom I’d like to give my highest recommendation.

For the last year and a half, I have seen Binyamin enchant 45 fifth graders while delivering top-quality instruction.  I have witnessed him treating the most disruptive, fidgety students with dignity and patience, using positive reinforcement, compassion, and firmness to get them focused and on his side. Furthermore, this is an expert classroom manager who I feel is qualified to teach other teachers how to ignite and maintain students’ interest so that unforgettable lessons happen and, more importantly, stick.

I feel very fortunate to have had the chance to team-teach with Binyamin last year, and he continues to inspire me.  I saw firsthand his flexibility, astounding creativity, and engaging speaking style.  Don’t let his relative youth fool you.  This is a gifted professional who has the poise and talent to teach other teachers methods of connecting with students and delivering content.

Please contact me if you need any further information about this gifted educator.

To Whom It May Concern:

Please consider this letter of reference prior to any decision related to the hiring of Binyamin Stone.

Binyamin is a close friend of both myself and my wife.  The remarkable character that he displays has qualities that are seemingly endless in quantity.  I will detail some of these character traits yet with dismay only because a list will only be too short and will be a disservice to who he is and what he brings to a community and to the people within that community.

Binyamin is wise well beyond his years.  He has spent half of his life educating himself and honing the skills that he brings to the world.  Many of our evenings were spent until the wee hours of the morning learning Torah and learning invaluable tools for parenting.  I find it remarkable that a young man can have so much insight in the world of parenting and educating that his wisdom in these fields dwarfs many of those that market themselves at high levels and have become very profitable doing so.  He is an honest man that holds his integrity dear to his heart.  He will follow his loyalty until the end of the earth.  One of the very unusual talents that he has is his ability to untether himself emotionally from a problem and rise to the 30,000 foot level so that his observation can become objective and analytical.  From this height he is able to break down the problem, have it become a challenge and then find the solutions that others will have had difficulty locating.  His out-of-the-box thinking sends his creative juices flying in a multitude of directions yet with focus and deft.

While Binyamin’s humility will have him offering thanks to others for befriending him or making an acquaintance with him, it is we, the people of the community in which he resides, that should be thankful to Hashem for blessing us with someone of such great wisdom and stature.
